The Southdown hotel sits in a prime location on the New South Promenade, 200 meters south of the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterworld.
Many of our bedrooms give you glorious views of the bay and the illuminations. There is a tram stop outside the Southdown for a ride to Blackpool Tower, town centre and on to Cleveleys and Fleetwood.
The Southdown has 29 fully en suite bedrooms: 18 doubles, 5 family, 4 twin and 2 single rooms. Bedrooms are designated non-smoking for the benefit of all our guests.

All our bedrooms have central heating, complimentary tea/coffee facilities, shaver points and colour TV.

Meals are served in our very spacious and elegant dining room which overlooks the promenade. We have established a reputation for good food, service and generous portions.

Light entertainment is provided in peak season subject to numbers and we have a dance floor for to dance the night away.
